The city of Norwich Ct. in the Western Ave. neighborhood recieved a grant from the state of Connecticut to remove EVERY single tree. Some trees might pose a threat to power lines but those limbs can be trimmed back. Other then that there is no reason for EVERY tree to be removed. This of course will have a great effect on the ecosystem. It is important in many ways that we stop this from happening. The money that the city is recieving from the state of Ct. could be put to better use. Please help our neighborhood from being ruined! We have Bald Eagles, Red Tail Hawks and Red Shoulder hawks that live here as well as many other types of beautful birds and wildlife.
