Please help stop senior citizens from being forced to take antipsychotic medicines when they do not show symptoms of psychosis. My Dad, a former P.O.W., retired general officer, loved to walk his dogs, write military biographies, play tennis, and be there for his grandchildren,was a victim of chemical restraints. My Dad had no history of mental illness, violence or aggression, but was administered chemical restraints and forced out of his home against his will. He had long standing expressed wishes to remain in his home, and had the means for in home care to assist with his dementia. He never stepped foot in his home again or saw his beloved Belgium shepherd dog. May he rest in peace. Please help stop this from happening to our senior citizens. Please sign this petition today.
