As a citizen of Westchester County, NY, I strongly urge you my elected officials, to request Spectra Energy Corporation to seek an alternative less populated area/town in which to execute their Atlantic Bridge Project. This appeal is made in the interest of our citizen's and community's public health, safety and security, the protection of our environment, the preservation of our property values, and overall, for the sustainability of quality of life for all area residents. We further request your persistence to ensure Spectra Energy Corporation retain independent experts to thoroughly study the impact the expansion project will have on air, water, soil and the general environment, the final report of which be forwarded to my local, state and federal environmental agencies for their review and be made public with appropriate hearings to allow for public comment.

If Spectra Energy Corporation as the last possible resort is granted approval to execute the Atlantic Bridge Project in my community, we do hereby appeal to you to mandate that Spectra Energy Corporation post maximum possible performance bonds and time of essence agreements with severe penalties for non-compliance so as to ensure accountability and indemnification for our community.
