Currently in Wisconsin, there is an attempt to ban a ban on the size and calorie content of sugary drinks. This revision to the state bill could hurt the freedom of local governments, is a step taken too far in advance because no part of Wisconsin has yet thought about adopting this bill, and would be taking time away from the legislature that could be put towards educating the public on the negative side effects of sugary drinks instead of creating a ban from banning large sizes from the public.
