Over the years an increased amount of Asian restaurants have used suppliers that abuse the endangered species for their fins. Shark finning is the act of Shark's being caught out in the ocean and their fins being chopped off while still being alive. After the fins are chopped off the sharks are left for dead as they are thrown back into the ocean and without their fins they sink and die a horrible death. Shark finning is the worst act of animal cruelty to ever be seen and performing these kind of acts on endangered animals is just complete horror.
