Name: Edward Van Sloten on Apr 3, 2012Comments: The North York Select Loop is just that - a North York league. The Ted Reeve Hockey Association should not be giving up ice-time to North York. If teams wish to play in the North York loop, they know that it means travel to North York. Ted Reeve arena is an East York arena and should support the needs of that constituency.Flag

Name: Steve Stockdale on Apr 5, 2012Comments: This is the age where we need to keep kids of the street and keep them busy in organized sports! I find it ridiculous that in times where people are encouraged to particpate in physical activity we have people trying to take away some kids only option in the community.Flag

Name: Colin Berwick on Apr 6, 2012Comments: This just seems like another one of the brilliant moves made by a board that does not think things through. Community Arena my backside. North York is not even close to the community that surounds Main and Gerrard. It would really be a horrible thing to watch the Ted Reeve Hockey association fall apart after putting in 41 years as a volunteer. The great sports writer Ted Reeve would surley be ashamed at the decision makers in this case. What do you have to gain from this decision?Flag

Name: Julie Howald on May 6, 2012Comments: this is sooo important, as the age group that is being effected may have to move their time slot to late Saturdays, or early Sunday mornings, however, almost all of the have to work on weekends. We should be encouraging these kids to keep playing, not putting up road blocks--keeping them fit--keeping them active as they move onto other aspects of life.--The select group that wants to take the ice time, has already had other ice times elsewhere. Why do they need to move, when they already have the ice and time they need? Please sign this my friends...PLEASE!Flag
