Comments: It is disgusting selling off OUR health service in the first place to a profit making company, let alone them now making these unecessary cuts, just so they can make more profit. The sick and vulnerable will be amongst those who's service will suffer and will only result in unecesarry deaths, while SERCO still makes money!

Comments: The clinical staff are overworking already as it is and any further reduction is highly likely to affect patient care and impact on quality of service provided.

Comments: A disgraceful and duplicitous backward step - especially given SERCO's exposure in providing an out of hours service in the South-West.

Comments: The intial decision to award this contract to Serco was ideological and was always likely to result in redundancies. Slash and burn is a policy Serco have applied in other areas and so was expected. It is an outrage that we are to lose comprehensive community healthcare in Suffolk; this can surely be the only outcome to such a large number of redundancies.

Comments: Privatisations such as this are driven entirely by ideology - that public is bad and private is good. The experience - with Take Care Now and Southern Cross and numerous others - is quite the reverse.
