social services continue to take our children under the noses of our society by getting mothers to willingly sign section 20 (signing your children voluntarily into foster care) under the pre-tense that this is a temporary measure until assessments are done.

After doing assessments they decide that the children should not be returned home due to either past concerns, accusations of mental health problems, learning disabilities, or risk of future emotional or physical harm to name a few with no physical evidence of these things from doctors etc.

For a parent to start fighting for the return of their children they then have to withdraw section 20 to make the courts aware of what social services are doing, by this point they have already written reports and had meetings about the reasons why the children can't come home, these reports are either fabricated with no actual evidence other than other written reports, recorded inacurately of what has happened or been said in the past or miss out key events.

This trail of events continues through the court process and records are never amended to state the true events. The children are represented by a guardian who is supposed to act in the children's best interests. The guardian will write a report based on historic paperwork and observed contacts and they to will miss out important information to suit the way they want things to work out in court. Social services have usually decided right at the beginning what they want to happen and will not change their mind no matter what you do and currently A LOT of children are being pushed into being adopted to reach the governments adoption targets.

After two years of fighting social services, assessments, court hearings, observed contacts, complaints, meetings and sheer perseverance I got the judge to decide that my son Oscar should be rehabilitated to my care, however social services appealed this and have been given permission for the case to be heard in front of a higher judge. There is a possibility that this judge could say no to him coming home if he believes the evidence of social services. This decision could then be appealed by myself and the court process would continue again.

WE NEED TO STOP THIS HAPPENING TO OUR KIDS. we need to spread the word of what is happening and get the law changed so that once a final decision is made that our kids come home it can't be appealed by social services. This only happens in the UK Please help.
