My dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's last September (2013) in December after spending time in hospital Dad was placed in a nursing home after 3 months of being there my dad was placed in a shared room with a man who was bed bound,I was shocked I knew years ago shared rooms were the norm but we're in 2014 surely this was wrong? I spoke to social workers and cqc but no one seemed to think this is wrong! This is were the petition comes in I want to see all shared rooms stopped,our elderly people our mums dads grandma's and grandads deserve the very least privacy and respect.my dad passed away 13/09/14 and it was only at the end of his life they moved him to a single room! Please share and sign this petition let's get these shared rooms stopped now!!!
