This company added 6 extra payments on to the end of my loan they purchased from my original lender. They told me it was late fees. It added up to be over $1800.00 worth of fees. I have been given the run around by these people and they keep telling me they will mail me a copy of the charges. I have yet to receive anything in the mail. This is illegal! I never signed a contract with this company and my original lender's late fee's would not equal this if I paid every month late! I made 99% of my payments on time! This company is a scam!
Keep telling me that I still have a balance on my mortgage and every time I pay the balance off, a new balance "magically" appears. Then, of course, they charge a late fee for the "remaining balance" that magically appeared. I will never get ahead with my payments and now my credit is shot after 20 years of a great credit history.
Paid these bastards damn near $9k over the past 3 years, was rarely late and always paid it through the damn $10.95 money wire transfer. I come to find out that they say I've not touched but only so much of my original loan and that a majority of my payments went to interest??? What a bunch of crooks! CROOKS! I've contact an attorney, my state's Attorney General, my state Senator & Congressman, and I'm this close to contacting the regional news outlet & ask for all of our stories to be told against these evil foreign bastards (the company is from Spain). Honestly, what we need to do besides contacting all these people is a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT! STOP SANTANDER NOW!

Told us we could not pay early and could not pay on the principal through extra payments - it was "against the law." every payment is posted incorrectly and it takes a week or more to get it corrected. In the meantime, they collect interest they are not entitled to receive.
