We the tenants of Dogwood Apartments are petitioning that the management increase of rent. The apartments are 40+ years old and have not recieved any interior renovations. Much of the plumbing and wiring is original, the grounds have become worst do to the fact the trees were cut their roots ground but not taken away. This makes the place look bad and unkempt. The rent gone up and we believe they will increase again within the next year or less. The only amenities the apartments offer are; on site laundry facilities, a pool(open in summer only) and a clubhouse we can't use. Marta is near as well as the highways I 20 & I 285 but that goes for all the apartments in the area. We the tenants of Dogwood want the grounds cleaned and kept up, new appliances, business center, to make the raise in rent worth it all. In this time where many people are not working as many hours, getting wage increases or even get laid off. No one can handle many of annual rise in all things including rent and not get something in return that worth it. We the tenants will not stand for it.
