One dog dies every eight seconds in a puppy mill. What is a puppy mill? A puppy mill is a place where people store dogs to make them breed until they cannot anymore, and when they can't breed anymore they are killed. Dogs also often get sold to another mill, or abandoned, when they are no longer useful, and sometimes die because they are kept in such poor conditions. There is a difference between a reputable breeder and a puppy mill. A "good" breeder will properly feed and clean the dogs, and give them a long break between breeding, which puppy mills do not do. Puppy mills keep dogs breeding non-stop, and that is not healthy. The dogs barely ever get properly fed, cleaned or exercised, so the dogs often get diseases or disorders and sometimes they rot.  Please participate in the process of ending puppy mills in Michigan, and make sure not to support them. They can even be supported just by buying a dog from them.
