We the undersigned believe that it best when holiday celebration is conducted within a narrow window of time. Having noted Halloween marketing in late summer and Christmas marketing in early fall, we find the joy of the holiday season to be diluted as it is spread out over a greater time frame. This practice also discourages us from enjoying the present time as it pressures us to find our joy in a future moment. And in the rush to focus on Christmas, the beauty of Thanskgiving is terribly neglected.
