Blood drives exclude gay male and female students, faculty and staff from giving blood. As Thomas Jefferson University has a non-discrimination policy that protects its community on the basis of sexual orientation, it should not endorse, promote or host blood drives on campus. The signers of this petition hereby demand that TJU stands up against intolerance and discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and refuse all other blood drives until such time that all blood banks and the American Red Ross end this policy of exclusion.
