Comments: Dreadful decision leading to England's try yesterday. Some refs are too well chuffed with themselves. The auxilliary refs definitely need to be more assertive.Get a grip of professional fouls( blocking etc). Not American football

Comments: The fourth official's role needs to be changed. Instead of just advising the referee, (s)he should have the duty to review incidents and stop the game with a visible signal displayed on TV screens so that the spectators know it has been done. The referee should have the duty to respond to the fourth official's flagging.

Comments: Wayne Barnes consistently ruins games with his over officiating of the game through blowing his whistle too much and not letting the game flow. He is by far the worst and is the only one I mainly have a problem with.

Comments: Agree with everything you say. It may be that we need to go to the same format as NFL (the BEST refereed game in the wold btw!) and have more than three officiators on the field.

Comments: so many refs are missing vital infringments that in most cases affect the score line and give teams an unfair advantage, there is no need for this as we now have all refs and line judges miked up and any of them can call the foul, this must stop as it spoils the game for everybody, also hookers should start hooking the ball like in the old days instead of the ball being rolled straight to the back row as allowed by the ref 9 out of 10 times.

Comments: Some strange decisions by Mr Barnes in the Scotland v Ireland encounter today. Neither side really benefited from his erratic refereeing, but his decisions slowed the play and spoiled the game. It must have been frustrating for the players and coaches.

Comments: Rugby is a team game where the speed and number of players is overwhelming a single referee. The referee at international matches should be allowed and encouraged to take advice from the other referees with the assistance of technology. Otherwise its just becoming a lottery of who can hide what from the ref, ends up disrupting the flow and sometimes even the result of the game. The IRB need to think through exactly how they want the game to appear for spectators. The current lottery is not long term sustainable,

Comments: When a player has had a bad/ poor game , he gets dropped. There appears to be no sanction for abysmal performances by unbelievably incompetent match officials !. Spectators pay fortunes to attend matches , which are almost invariably ruined by ' lime-light' seeking morons ! ( In most cases , failed! / never made the grade wannabee players ! )

Comments: The scrum need to be sorted out. More specifically, it should be refereed according to the current laws. IE, no pushing before the ball comes in and the ball has to go in straight. As I understand it the "hit" as currently performed at the top level is illegal.

Comments: The referee for the recent Scotland v Ireland game was terrible. He was inconsistent to say the least, made a mess of the scrum, a lottery at the breakdown, failed to penalise those failing to stay on their feet and made some rediculous decisions. Even commentary had something to say about it! The wort thing however was his arrogance without merit.

Comments: stop this ridiculous "choke tackle" habit that is creeping into the game as a way of holding up mauls, especially Ireland. if a player tackles a free running opponent at the neck, he ios penlised for a high tackle, possibly even dangerous play, yet holding a player up by the throat and yelling "maul" at the ref is, apparently, completely acceptable??? not in the matches i referree...i've upset more than one coach by penalising it, and i shall continue to do so because IT'S DANGEROUS!!!!! Or do we wait until a player passes out or suffers brain damage from asphyxia before we outlaw it???

Comments: I grew up in Scotland and France but my paternal grandfather represented Ireland as a ref betwean the wars. However I beg anyone who will listen, please, please, never select Roland ever again for more than school games.A ref should not seek always to be the center of attention.I know many many rugby fans would agrea with me.Sack Roland.

Comments: I am a big rugby fan, but over the last 8 or 9 months especially, poor refereeing has almost ruined the game I love. I can take a missed decision or two, but lately the referees poor decisions are having a direct impact on who wins the game.. This is unfair on fans and players alike. I have noticed this in not just 'my team', but too many other games that i watch.. please sort this out IRB

Comments: The standard of referees in the game is now very poor. The 4 officials constantly miss crucial decisions in open play and have absolutely no idea what is happening at the scrum. The interpretation of the laws at the breakdown seems to depend on what the ref had for breakfast in the morning. There is no consistency at all. It is utterly ruining the game

Comments: Thank you for this petition! I wanted to do the same but you jumped the gun on me! Its time to eradicate cheating, lying and crooking referees. Its going to be a difficult task, since there are several different tiers of corruption going on, at the same time. It was bad when we saw cricket, football and other pro sports go down to corruption, but is was an absolute shock when I discovered that my beloved game became contaminated too!! I wish you the best of luck, and you have my full support!
