On sept 27,2011 two Lake Elsinore detectives came to our home for questioning of a $20 bill that I supposedly TRIED to pass at a stater bros grocery.  On several occasions I ,along with my husband told the officers they could not come in because we have two big (but friendly ) dogs.  Illegally (violating our 4th amendment right) one detective kicked open our door allowing both dogs out.  The officers were standing on our front porch both dogs ran right past both officers into our front yard (which at that moment had every opportunity to attack, but DID NOT!) Capone our Dogue de bordeaux was apprx. 25-30 ft away standing perpindicular from the officers his head down sniffing the grass to potty, thats when I watched the officer pull out his gun, yelling "You better F'N contain your dogs before I shoot them!".  MY husband Kevin went to get Capone and as he was diving for him a bullet grazing his foot.  There was atleast 4-5 shots that I heard he had shot Capone in his neck going straight out the other side.  Capone seemed fine, I was yelling please dont shoot him, Please dont kill my dog, thats when Capone trotted down our embankment where I was being violantly shoved into a police car, he was starring right into my eyes begging for my help (as dogs talk with their eyes) I felt so helpless.  I begged the officers to PLEASE call a vet dont let my baby DIE!  There now was about 30 police with every weapon imagineable pointed at my husband (who was holding onto Capones wound) Capone and our pitbull Dooley who was standing over his dying friend.  An officer yelled out, "Release that F'N dog and grab your other dog or im gonna shoot him too", Kevin released Capone and he died instantly, he grabbed Dooley.  As I begged and pleaded for help they laughed like this was some sick joke.  As soon as Kevin had Dooley the officer yelled again, "Now release that F'N dog, Kevin told them, "hell no so you can kill him too?"  Thank god he didnt as we both believe their every intention was to shoot them all!  My husband and I were both arrested on the most B.S. charges of counterfeiting, forgery, burgulary, and meth!  What they called meth was hair bleach in a measuring cup, that they refused to test!   I am soo disgusted by these officers BAD judement and heartless actions!!  I feel that this cop should be held accountable for his wrong doing and unjustly execution of my sweet Capone.   Law enforcement all over the U.S.  are innocently shooting and killing our beloved pets (and family members) this is OUT OF CONTROL  and needs to be stopped!  They need to be treated as we would and be punished accordingly.
