We are petitioning against police brutality in the Jane-Finch Community. We want police officers to stop assaulting innocent people, and targeting communities because of their neighbourhood. We need accountability for the abuses that happen at the hands of the police, and we need to take accountability to stop these abuses, and watch out for each other. It is important for us - especially the youth of Jane-Finch - to not be treated like suspects, and to feel safe in our community. Our rights need to be respected no matter the neighbourhood we are in.
