Great Whites, all sharks actually, use their mouths to feel things, like a dog would. A White shark's eyesight isn't as keen as some other sharks so they use different senses to identify objects. It is not the animals fault that we humans are in their territory at the wrong time. Most cases of white shark attacks aren't cases of mindless violence either, it's the shark investigating what's in its territory or mistaking a human for it's chief food source; seals. They aren't out to get anyone. Fear is not a reason to slaughter mercilessly under any circumstance.Flag

We are literally wiping out the ocean's apex predator that has been around much longer than we have. We are wiping out a magnificent creature because people think they're "hunting humans" & "evil," & working on signing & sealing our own deaths as a result. Who here is the hunted? It's not us.Flag
