When children (or even other dogs) are the victims of dog attacks, why does the blame instantly fall on the animal? Where were the child's parents? Where was the owner of the dog? Surely the blame should lie with the adult in charge? I would like to see an end to these Death Petitions. What would having the dog put down achieve except making the parent feel better for them or someone else not looking after their child properly? ALWAYS THE HUMAN'S FAULT, NEVER THE ANIMAL'S!
