I strongly object that our tax dollars are being used to fund the Monarchies visits to Canada. I have ALWAYS paid for my own vacations acting as an ambassador for Canada indirectly wherever I go. Watching the news tonight showed many instances of people in situations struggling financially certainly our own Canadian economy is struggling. This antiquated arrangement is foolish and unnecessary in today's world unless of course you are the Queen or Prince Charles or Camilla or Will or Kate. Would you complain if a million dollars was spent on your 3 day visit. Ridiculous! I think. Please join me in expressing our voices....I have nothing against them but it is time they stood on their royal two feet.
