To the Mayor, City Commissioners and Police Chief of the City of Orlando: We, the undersigned, oppose the City of Orlando\'s forced eviction of homeless individuals living under the 408 overpass and the CSX railroad tracks near the 408; We, the undersigned, oppose the illegal confiscation and destruction by City of Orlando employees of the personal property of homeless individuals living under the 408 and by the CSX railroad tracks; We, the undersigned, call upon the City of Orlando to refrain from any further attempts to evict homeless individuals living in these areas until such time as the City through its own efforts or through working in partnership with other local governments and private groups shall have ensured that adequate resources for housing the homeless and providing them with other services are available to Orlando and Central Florida\'s homeless population, which numbers at least 7,000 individuals; We, the undersigned, call upon the City of Orlando and other local governments to repeal any measures that criminalize homelessness, that hinder homeless individuals from engaging in life-sustaining activities, and that hinder the efforts of private groups to provide assistance to the homeless.

Make it APPEAR that the city is doing its job to maintain quality life for all of its residents.. good luck with that, the homeless and the people standing by them don't seem to be running to hide like you want them to. Maybe you should do your jobs and fix the problem.
