- A black hole with the mass of 18 billion suns named OJ 287 is attempting to devour a smaller neighboring black hole which orbits the cannibalistic giant. Every 12 years the contemptuous ne'er do well beckons its prey closer by 10,000 miles. When will we stand up and say enough is enough? Please sign this petition to help force change. Just because a place is 3.5 billion light years away doesn't mean that it lies beyond the reach of justice. One cannot simply pull one's neighbor inward over thousands of years solely with the intention of assimilating him or her into his or her own mass.
