            Obesity is a problem in United States. People are getting bigger and less healthy as time goes by. America is one of the most obese countries while other people in other countries are starving. In order to decrees this we have to make an awareness of it. Part of the reason of obesity is that people aren’t exercising. These days’ people don’t play outside as much but mostly watch TV or play electronics like video games. Excursing is crucial to being fit otherwise you are eating all this food and it just stays in you body building up.You also have to eat better or adapt a better diet.  The more junk food you eat the unhealthier you are getting. You shouldn’t eat junk food every day but you can eat it every once in a while. Junk food is bad for you because most fast food places super size their products. Eating in moderation helps to. 

Eating in proportion is eating in moderation. People these days eat too much, due to most of the foods being super sized. Like McDonalds French fries, their small used to be the medium there for making the medium the new large. Since food portions are over sized, people feel that they need to eat all of it.Eating in moderation is when you equal amount of food, of meat, vegetables, and sugary food. Eating everything that is giving to you may not be healthy if you are not doing the right amount of exercise. The average person should eat around 2,500 calories but an athlete would should eat allot more then that since they would constantly burning calories, more then regular people. 

Other people have tried to make an awareness of this. The first lady has cooperated with Disney and nickelodeon to help inspire and teach children to be healthy. One of the main commercials on Disney Channel is a famous Disney star eating or making healthy snack or food and Michelle Obama giving a tip about what to eat and how you should eat.  This tells children the right decision to what to eat. Beyonce also came up with a work out song that’s fun and enjoyable to help people exercise. Called “Move your body”. So, start exercising and eating healthy. Be part of the people that over come obesity not be apart of it.
