As we know, radiation is one of the most destructive things man-kind has ever created. From the Chernobyl disaster to the most recent disaster in japan, which by the way the consequences are still being evaluated. Nuclear power plants are unstable and have the potential to destroy life, not only man-kind but animals as well as sea life and pretty much anything else that could be considered alive. How could radiation, something so dangerous ever be considered productive or more importantly safe? There is a need for cheap power you say? Then I'd suggest investing in solar power. Completely safe and inexpensive and as long as the Sun remains where it is there will always be power with no danger to the planet or anything living on the planet. I do hope there are people out there that shares my concerns and will support my effort and perhaps there can be a decent future for man-kind and our neighbors, animals and sea life and plants an so on.
