The goal of this petition is to stop JP Morgan Chase from charging a ridiculous and outrageous fee for everytime they "DON'T PAY" a vendor from your personal checking account. They charge an insufficient funds fee for items paid AND they charge the same amount for a returned item. A returned item, means no money was given, promised, held, or otherwise lost/taken from chase, so how does it remotely make sense for a person to be charged a fee for something "NOT PAID"???? I fully understand a charge for a "PAID" item that they paid insufficient, GREAT! But if they continue to do this people on fixed incomes, disability, who have emergencies, etc will more than likely get behind on their account and almost never recover...PLEASE SIGN, everyone isn't rich, some of us have families, and if you know of anyone who left Chase (Washington Mutual) because of their back door practices, please ask them to sign the petition too!
