Students, Parents, and Families:
       In past years at Westside Christian High School, finals have been held over a three day period with two or three finals separated by subject matter each day. This finals system had ensured students' success in two different ways: Firstly, Monday and Tuesday of the week were regular schedules, giving teachers the chance to review the material of the year. This gave students the opportunity to assess their general knowledge of the subject, and make a realistic estimation of where to begin in the study process. Secondly, because Wednesday, Thursday and Friday were half days, students were given an ample amount of time to study for the exams that test on fourteen weeks of subject matter.
      Westside Christian High School has changed its finals policy and schedule dramatically. Finals are held over a two day period using a block schedule. This means that a student could have a maximum of eight finals back to back in a two day period. This does not ensure a students' success in two key ways: Firstly, Mo
