Not to long ago I found out I was being charged $9.99 per month for a "horoscope" text service I had never asked for. What had happen was that I ignored the push message I had recieved a couple of weeks prior. I did not ask for it, so I just opted not to do anything. However, by not responding the company assumed I was giving my OK with the charge. I WAS NOT! This shady practice is called CRAMMING. And to top it off they want me to wait for a mail back rebate! I am starting this petition to make sure all consumers are aware of the practice and so we can start the effort to make it illegal to charge us for things we do not ask for and to make sure that the things we do ask for do not come with hidden charges. I have done reseach on the topic and know that there is a cause out there for this, so let us all join up to stop shady practices like CRAMMING.
