Federal background checks do not work. Currently the federal government has required background checks to prevent convicted felons from buying
guns. Does it work? No. There are loop holes like private sales where guns can be purchased without a background check. The solution would be to add more
laws to close these loop holes, right? Wrong! The federal background check is only
making a list of law-abiding gun owners. We are fighting to stop any new law that is requiring
us to give our personal information when buying a gun. We also need to regain the freedoms we have already lost. This petition is for our great State of Arizona
to stop honoring any new or current federal infringements on our right to keep
& bear arms!
