Fairpoint communications in Northern Maine is getting out of control. They are over priced and they do not deliver the quality internet that they are charging gouging prices for. On top of the fact that they are ripping off customers they are also stealing from customers. If you ask for premium internet (which is not even premium in comparison to just about anywhere else) You had better check your internet speed on a regular basis. Fairpoint will either charge you for the premium internet speed package you ordered and then give the basic speed or slowly change it over time. This has happened to me twice and that's only because i'm aware of how to find out my speed. How many people are getting ripped off that don't even know it? How many of you out there are paying 60 or 70 dollars per month and not getting the speeds you were promised. It needs to stop.
