Let's hold Elvis Duran and his fellow morning show members accountable for the racially insensitive things they say. On Wednesday, July 25, 2013, Danielle Monaro made a comment that an articulate, well-spoken woman didn't "sound like one of those black people, y'know". Unfortunately, the comment was not an isolated incident on this morning show. A few weeks prior, Elvis Duran, while speaking to a black caller, said he would send her a shirt to share with people in her 'hood'. Advertisers need to pull support of this show until Elvis Duran and the rest of the team learn to create a more sensible and less offensive dialogue.
