Elephants are beautiful creatures. They have families just like people do. They have emotions just like people do. But some people kill them just for their ivory or meat. Why would an animal have to die just so you could make money off of it. That is so shallow. They are not money, they are living beings that breath and feel just like you and I. They just want to protect their families, and they will fight to the death if they have to. Elephants are wonderful, kind, caring and beautiful animals. If this keeps going on they will go extinct. Gone, forever. That thought just breaks my heart so much that I can't just except it. We need to make a change in the way humans treat all living organisms. We need to help and save those who have no voice. Imagine having a good day when you hear gun shots. Your mother had been killed. You were devastated and mourned over her death. This is how they feel. They mourn, just like people. So the next time you think about buying something with ivory, think again really hard. Is that what you would want if you were an elephant?
