Name: Charlie Errington on Jan 24, 2013Comments: this is symptomatic of a wider trend. Touts are buying up popular sports events and concerts at the expense of genuine fans. The fairtrade site is an excellent idea, but there's no reason why this shouldn't be set up in competition with Viagogo, seatwave etc. I've also had the experience of having to buy sports/concert tickets up to 12 months in advance with no simple return policy available to ticket buyers - the fairtrade option would be widely supported if promoted by venues.Flag

Name: Seamus Collins on Jan 24, 2013Comments: Like many others was unable to get tickets for the farewell tour by Wilko Johnson. Chances are I would have been very lucky to have got tickets even if the touts hadnt engaged in muiti purchasing of tickets for personal gain, such is the high esteem that Wilko is held in. It is high time legislation was in place to stop a practise that limits the chances for acquiring tickets by genuine fans who have a passion for keeping live music available to all and in this case, say farewell to a true gentleman of music who has been an inspiration to so many.Flag
