Comments: It's not just secondary sites such as seatwave viagogo who are to blame. The promotion companies such as sjm concerts have in the past sold seats directly to the secondry market and take the majority of the profit made on highly inflated prices. I also think it has to comes down to the artist management to put restrictions on this practice. They must be aware. Surely there has to be a fairer way. Charging face value for the ticket should be the most you can charge plus postage. Proof of purchase (credit card) needs to be shown at venue before claiming tickets it's not difficult.Flag -

Afraid the 'fairtrade' idea fails because the good guys get targetted by the bad - Resales should be from the only people who can validate the ticket. The original agent.Flag

Name: Paul Ariss on Feb 7, 2013Comments: Exploitation of peoples desire to see the artists they enjoy playing music they love has gone on long enough through outrageous booking fees and lack of solid regulation. This takes things to sickening new levels, and this campaign must be supported be as many as possible.Flag

Name: John Hazlett on Feb 7, 2013Comments: I have been a fan of Wilko Johnson since I first saw him play in 1978. I would have liked to have been there for his farewell, but unfortunately the tauts seem to have got all the tickets. There are offers ranging from £140 upwards and I am sure the money wont be going to Wilko or Cancer Research. I think this is dispicable exploitation of both the artist and his fans.Flag
