Name: Donna Romani on Jan 14, 2013Comments: I oppose the development of the tracvellers site on Cartridge Lane.It is unfair and would be dangerous to have so many people coming and going on that site. Also unfair that we have to abide by the planning laws for our own developments/extentions, and pay for the privelidge if living here in our council tax.Flag

Name: Pete Wellock on Jan 14, 2013Comments: Sirs, I wish to express my concern and objection to the proposed retrospective planning application on Cartridge Lane. This has been an ongoing issue for some time and despite some changes the applicant continues to flout the regulations. They were initially given a temporary stay but on conditions. One was not cutting down trees, which they then did. I am not anti traveller but feel they should be treated fairly and respect the planning laws as the rest of us have to. There are many examples of residents who have tried to get retrospective planning through, even some extreme where councils have had to demolish property. Quite simply this is designated green belt, if we could not build houses there then we should not allow this application to go through, one rule for all consistently applied.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 15, 2013Comments: The majority of local residents have not been given the opportunity to object to this retrospective planning application due to a failure by Warrington Borough Council to give adequate notification. The land at the junction of Cartridge Lane / Broad Road is Green Belt and should not be developed; there are numerous brown sites in Warrington that could be utilised.Flag

Name: Enrichetta Mason on Jan 15, 2013Comments: I object to the proposed application to to Warrington Borough Council to extend the traveller site at Grappenhall, Cartridge Lane Warrington. The original agreement was on a temporary basis for the site to remain there. The agreement has since expired and rather than honour the agreement, there is a proposal to extend the site. The council need to ensure consistency in applying planning laws in respect of green belt areas and not approve the application. Further the temporray status needs to be looked at with aview to ensuring the land is reverted back to its original usuage and not let the land be developedFlag
