Child labour isn't a human right, People are getting children to work for nothing when they could be in school learning.

Child labour is happening all over the world and nothing is getting done about it. It is estimated that 168 million children aged 5-12 worldwide are involved in child labour and at least 50% of them are in danger and hazards each day. At Least 1-2 Million of those children are in Africa on Cocoa Bean farms cutting the pods from the trees with large weapons, slicing them open and scooping out the almond sized beans.

Child Labour is effecting children and their health. Most of these children are only just getting enough food to survive and keep fit to work, meanwhile others are dieing of starvation and sickness because of the way they are being treated. Children are getting abused and tortured to work for Cocoa bean farms, forced to work in brick factories, carpet-weaving centers, fishing platforms, leather tanning shops, mines, and other hazardous places. They are commonly trafficked from one country to another with their health being severely threatened, Many if they survive are deformed and disabled before they can mature physically, mentally or emotionally. Does this sound fair to you, would you like to be treated like this?

Child Labour is violating the human rights in many ways For example: The right to own decisions, freedom, Education, Freedom of speech, Right to life. Children are using dangerous weapons to cut open Cocoa Bean Pods which is a severe risk to hurting themselves and catching an infection in the wound and causing possible death.

A possible solution to help stop Child labour could be to

arrest those that are in charge of some kind of Child Labour, We could support it to become illegal to Trafficking and Child Labour. Fundraising money could also be a possible solution that could help them to get Flights/Transports to places Child Labour is taking place, Food and water supplies, Education supplies and Teachers willing to help out children that have nothing.

Think of what we have and get here in New Zealand and how different it is to those over in Africa that are probably only eating stale bread and sleeping on concrete floors with no warmth, Then in the morning being forced to work with no strength. In New Zealand we don’t treat things as they would over in Africa such as food When were finished with our meals we just throw it in the bin, where over in Africa that one meal would last them that whole week.
