I started this because I am tired of explaining to friends from other schools why our stadium feels so hostile. Reading through your experiences has only confirmed that this isn't just a few bad apples but a culture that needs to change. I am working to get this in front of officials who can actually address the conduct in the student section.

Seeing this conversation take off brings me a lot of relief because I have spent years sitting in the stands hoping for a change in our culture. It feels meaningful to see so many people agree that our traditions should reflect respect for the game rather than hostility.

this is honestly so embarrassing for our school. we can be loud without being trashy
so tired of people trying to ruin all the traditions. if you dont like it stay home and watch on tv
