Beetlejuice 2 is being written by two writers that were not involved in the original movie. Tim Burton and Michael Keaton have said they may consider being involved if the screenplay is good enough, but even if they do not agree, the film will be made anyway. The last thing Beetlejuice fans need is for the franchise to be completely destroyed by a new generation of fans that are likely to destroy the originals reputation. Think Twilight fans, for example, being introduced to this- the film will turn into a fad that just takes over the love for the original. But most importantly, there is no need for a sequel. Cinema needs writers to be original and use their imaginations again, rather than tweaking ideas hat have already passed. Please help stop this happening
