We live in a time when Hollywood producers are out of ideas, so they start reaching into our childhood trying to re-invent movies and TV shows from our past for new generations to enjoy. The problem is that there is nothing wrong with these movies and TV shows for new generations to enjoy. They are like a vintage wine that gets better with age. We have stood by and watched directors take way too many creative liberties with our childhood memories and destroy them with stupid subplots and re-inventions. Now, another one of our childhood TV shows is facing a re-boot. What is worse is that director Michael Bay wants to make them Alien and not Mutants. Let us let Hollywood know that enough is enough. If they want to make a movie, do it right. Stay true to the origins and enough re-inventing. Originals have plenty of new adventures to live and they do not require a reboot.
