The federal government must reinstate the Glass-Steagell act from 1932 as it was originally written, and repeal Dodd-Frank. Dodd-Frank is a loophole infested piece of legislation that does little or nothing to curb the derivative speculation/gambling that caused the financial collapse of 2008 and will continue to cause future bale-outs of big banks. It is time to take our government back, and stop the influence of big money in Washington. Glass-Steagell protected peoples savings and checking accounts from greedy speculators for 30Years. The continuation of Dodd-Frank will allow banks, which are "too big to fail", to continue to have to be baled out by American taxpayers. By reinstating Glass-Steagell as it was originally written, with no amendments or attachments, our money will once again be protected from speculation derivatives and make those responsible for risky investments pay for those investment, NOT US.
