On the program's website, under the section entitled Location Selection you mention the following as criteria for selection:
"Sizeable area of under-utilized roadway, and Lack of public space in the surrounding neighborhood"
There is already TWO other public-spaces (aka parklets) within a block in either direction of the proposed site. This would be the 3rd parklet in THREE BLOCKS (and is neither desirable nor integral to our community. Public spaces are generally good, but over implemented have the potential of being detrimental to the quality of life for the residents of this community.More like this

The massive surge of momentum shows that the SF Department of Public Works cannot ignore our neighborhood any longer. These merchants are prioritizing their own profit over the residents who actually live here. We have forced them to acknowledge that enough is enough.

Seriously? We need the parking more than we need a third parklet. Think about the people actually living here for once.
Enough is enough. These things are just taking up space for business owners to expand their seating while we cant even park in front of our own apartments.
3 in 3 blocks is way too many. get real. the neighborhood is getting crowded enough as it is.
Ridiculous. Stop giving away our street parking for glorified patios.
This corridor is packed. I circled for 20 mins yesterday. Stop putting these things everywhere they dont belong!

Parking is already a nightmare on Divisadero. We dont need another one of these taking up more spots when there are two right down the street.
