As of last year the archbishop has included our school as one of those to be a part of the Good Shepherd Network. We as parents must stand up for what is right when it comes to our children's education. Being a part of the GSN will not in anyway benefit our school or the education that is being given to our students. This will actually take away from our students. Many facts of the GSN are unknown to parents that the board is willing to implement. When the board is confronted with questions they seem to change the subject instead of answering them honestly and fully. It is our duty not only as PTC Officers but as concerned parents of these children that attend this school to bring forth this information to you. The GSN is quick to vote amongst themselves rather than involving the opinions of the parents who's children attend these schools. The parents and administration of the other schools are willing to sit by and allow for the GSN to run their schools as they see fit. We at St. Mary Magdalene refuse to stand by and allow for this to happen. Again, we must fight for what is best for our students and administration because our student's education is our main priority and concern. The St. Mary Magdalene administration and students need our help to make our voices heard. We ask for all Parents to help us with this at this time.
