Streets that lose parking on one side are in yellow.As of this morning, July 14th, City officials said that the consultant that drew up the Cycling Plan is working on the situation for those streets that would lose parking on both sides.

The City of St. John's Cycling Plan recently had to undergo some routing changes due to unforeseen safety issues. The changes mean that some of the streets slated to have bike lanes will lose parking on one or both sides of the streets. Some of the streets affected include Canada Drive, Newtown Road, Airport Heights Drive, and Viscount Street. (For a complete list of streets affected, please email munbikeshare@gmail.com) Accordingly, there has been a fair amount of opposition to the Cycling Plan from the residents of these streets. So much so that the Cycling Plan may now be in jeopardy. If you support the Cycling Plan now is a crucial time to say so!
