My name is Sandi Bromberg, and I am a parent of 3 children who attend St. Jacobs school here in the village of St. Jacobs. With my children growing up, they are becoming involved in before and after school activities. This means that they are walking to and from school outside of the hours that the crossing guard is employed to make sure that they get across a very busy King Street safely. Therefore, I have sent letters to the Township of Woolwich and to the Regional of Waterloo, requesting that a pedestrian activated flashing light crosswalk be installed at Highcrest and king streets to ensure everyone is able to cross King St. safely at any hour. Please join me by adding your name to the petition request. Keep our kids safe!
