Name: Donald L. Taylor on Dec 18, 2009Comments: after seeing Shawn Graham and his government break their promise to rebate the provincial portion of the GST on the cost of electricity and the promise to not raise taxes, I began to question the honesty of the Liberals. Then the court action necessary to make the government live up to the agreement with doctors, the legal action to delay the French immersion changes, the legal action challenging to reorganization of the hospital administration led me to doubt the integrety of the Liberals even more. Then the Point LePreau overhaul with its difficulties and delays with no apparent penalties to the lost income and expenses of replacement power confirmed my opinion that the present government and the management of NBPower are not competent nor trustworthyFlag

Name: Gerald Germon on Jan 8, 2010Comments: I would be in favour of buying surplus power from Quebec BUT DEFINITEL:Y not in favour of selling NB Power. If you bought surplus power and distributed it within the Province you could shut down some of the poluting plants and achieve the same purpose pollution wise.Flag

Name: Donald L. Taylor on Feb 2, 2010Comments: With its abundance of hydro-electric power, why does Quebec Hydro want with the generation plants of NB. Is it just a back door way to get access to the distribution contracts held by NBpower generating division. Shawn Graham reminds me of the two young fellows I saw one time holding a skunk by the tail. They were afraid to let go.Flag
