The petition

St George's Roman Catholic High School in Walkden is a successful, high-achieving school at the heart of the local community.

Salford City Council want to close it down. St George's pupils - past, present and future - need your support. How confident can we be about the future of education across Salford if one of the most successful schools in the City is threatened with closure?

We, the undersigned, ask Salford City Council to reconsider their decision, and allow St George's High School to continue to serve the community in Walkden, Little Hulton and the wider Worsley area.
