In Signing this petition you show your support for the Unionized workers of Vertis in Stevensville, Ontario. When we reach our goal this petition will be passed on to all major branches of the Canadian Government. On. Jan. 16th 2013 employees of Vertis Canada were told they would no longer have jobs yet would not receive any termination pay or severance packages. The company took advantage of a loophole because they were based in the USA to not pay these employees what they are due. Many of the over 100 workers were fully unionized, yet this was still allowed to take place. Please help get the word out, corporations should not be able to do this to anyone.
