Is it really worth taking someones rights away for being caught with a cigerette in a jail/prison by charging them with a felony? Sign this petition if you believe this law should be corrected to at least a misdemeanor. Why is it when you get caught smoking underage its just a fine but when your state/county property its a felony? Is it fair that correction officers smoke on state property and get away with it but an inmate cant? Sign this if you believe that this is a wrongful conviction against a human being in society.
