   Comments: I am very disappointed with the current government in relation to environmental issues, in particular whaling. It would be nice, one day, to have a government that stood for issues on moral grounds and doing the "the right thing", as opposed to bowing to political pressure and economic gains. Like the Indian saying: only after the last tree has been cut down, only after the last river has been poisoned, only after the last fish has been caught, only then will you find that money cannot be eaten. Everyone will suffer in the end by short-sited policies.

   Comments: Peter Garrett you have mislead the Australian public,stating you would put a stop to this illegal whaling. What have you done .. nothing! These whales are born in Australian waters and so the Japanese whalers (or so called scientists!) are killing our whales!
