Name: Robert Acherman on Jan 4, 2007Comments: Please bring back Stephanie Edwards to co-host the 2008 Rose Parade on KTLA. KTLA's coverage of the 2007 Rose Parade was lacking one of the key ingredients to its success for many, many years- Co-Host Stephanie Edwards. Her knowledge of the float designers, flowers and the parade history as well as her friendly bantering with Bob Eubanks are what makes watching the Rose Parade on KTLA so enjoyable. About 20 years ago, there was one year where we watched another channel for Rose Parade coverage and it was awful. The host and celebrity co-hosts had little knowledge about the float description, what flowers were on the float and who the people were riding on the float. I could have done a better narration without a script than that channel, but it would never compare to Stephanie Edwards' expertise. If the issue to give her the boot was declining ad sales, then perhaps KTLA fired the wrong person KTLA has been creative in being the first to broadcast the Rose Parade in color, to have the best camera locations and to eliminate commercial breaks. Can KTLA bring back some of that creativity to boost ad sales to pay for the return of Stephanie Edwards to the Rose Parade broadcast booth Our family has been loyal to KTLA for Rose Parade coverage for more than 30 years. Please be loyal to us and bring back Stephanie Edwards to co-host the 2008 Rose Parade. Dont make us change the channel!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 8, 2007Comments: I have lived in Pasadena for over 10 years and always looked forward to waking up on New Year's Day and seeing Bob and Stephanie covering the Rose Parade. I was more than upset last year when she was demoted and stuck in the rain. This year I was more than disappointed in the fact she wasn't there all together and the fact that Bob's contract is also up. If he isn't renewed to remain the host, then I'll probably never watch the parade or KTLA again.Flag

Name: Mary Twyman on Jan 10, 2007Comments: I wondered what happened toStephanie Edwards, and was greatly disappointed that she was not a commentator at this year's rose parade (so I went on line to find out). We have watched the parade for years and liked very much how Bob and Stephanie made you feel the emotional part - the excitement and fun of being at the parade. I liked the way they explained the float creations, bands, equestrian units. It made for the best parade experience. In fact when I viewed the parade from the stands, I was glad to be back watching KTLA as I missed the commentary so much of these two. I don't know why Stephanie was replaced by Makaela. Bob and her do not have the same wit or banter; it was awful and I chose not to watch this year. Makaela would do better to explain a golf game as she just didn't bring the excitement of viewing that parade especially to the public. BRING BACK STEPHANIE Besides Bob looked lost with out her.Flag

Name: Mary Clark on Jan 12, 2007Comments: Stephanie Edwards is a class act! The 2007 KTLA Rose Parade presentation was B-O-R-R-R-I-N-G!!! Please reconsider the $50,000 KTLA allegedly "saved" by not rehiring Stephanie. One can only wonder how many viewers the sponsors have lost to ill-will because of KTLA's bonehead and illogical penny-pinching antics. We'll pledge $100. toward her contract fee! She's priceless. Bring back Stephanie NOW!!!Flag
