I just received word that the escrow policy has been officially reversed. This outcome belongs entirely to the 2,545 people who showed up to demand change when I was just one person typing at a screen. We still need to keep a close eye on future updates but for now …

I am honestly stunned that we are nearing one thousand signatures when I only intended for this to be a small inquiry. This momentum belongs entirely to the community and I hope you might consider sending this link to a few more people to help us cross that mark.

I do not believe that Escrow will solve any of the problems that valve is trying to fix. It only seems to cause havoc among the community and may very well lead to the trading community's doom via popular leave. I am against this.

As a trader and better, I don't support the escrow. I understand the purposes for it, and the use of having a three prong saftey net for items and accounts, but I feel it can be done in a more trader-friendly and bot-friendly fashion.

Really Valve, I know you want to make the community more safe from scammers, but this won't help, You are essentially killing most trading communities by forcing this. You have screwed up before, but you have fixed it, paid mods. And now this, Please stop this

This seems very unfair to all non-smartphone users. I get that its for security reasons but this is horrible, you should make an option to not use this and if you do get scammed steam will do nothing to try and get your items back.

In my option Escrow is worse option than people get scammed by philsing links. I am pretty sure that there are at least same count people who haven't right phone to use Mobile authenticator (I am one of them) than who get scammed by links.

This is garbage, we don't need this at all. Valve just needs to step up customer support times and add more employees to their support to get out faster responses so that way they're not swamped with people talking about their scammed items.......
